Freezing!!!!!!

Today we went to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City & the Summer Palace. It was freezing... the lake at the Summer Palace was frozen & we weren't far behind. We had our first experience with "squatty potties" and our first "real" Chinese food. The potty was gross but the food was great. We also went to the pearl & silk factories. It's been a long day & now we are about to go to an acrobatic show. We only slept for a few hours last night so we hope we can keep our eyes open for the show. Jet lag is some crazy stuff when you are tired & want to sleep but your body just won't. Hoping tonight we'll be a little more successful! Tomorrow is our last day in Beijing then off to meet our daughter.
