February Adoption Update

This month China matched dates Aug. 16-21, 2006.  We've about decided that 6 days is going to be about all they do a month for awhile.  There weren't a lot of babies/families matched with these 6 days so we believe that China is probably going by calendar dates, not #'s of babies being matched.  They probably just decide how many days they will do and that's it, regardless of how many or few babies are matched.  At this rate, it will still be 5 more months until we are matched and see our daughter's face. 

However, something wonderful happened recently through our journey of adoption.  It wasn't something that happened TO us, but through God's divine purpose and plan, we were able to have a small part in helping some friends begin their adoption process to bring their daughter home.  It's a long, complicated process that was truly orchestrated by God from beginning to end.  I am so, so thankful that our adoption journey was able to be a small part of His greater purpose.  Even if we never complete our adoption, this journey was worth it!  To Him be all glory!
